How many types of aluminum profiles are there which field are they suitable for?


Aluminum metal elements are very common in daily life, many of its properties are excellent in the industrial construction industries. However, due to the flexibility of pure aluminum, different specifications of aluminum alloy profiles are formed by adding different metal elements during use. 2 series alloys have a high copper content excellent rust prevention function. Representative alloys include 2011, 2017, 2018, 2024, 2025, 2117, 2218, 2219, etc. Their strength is very high, they can withstand high low temperatures, their welding performance is good. They are made of aviation aluminum, optical knitted fabrics, etc


The strength of 005 in the 3 series is 20% higher than that of 3003, while the strength of 3105 is slightly higher than that of 3003. The strength of 3105 is 30033004300531053105, 3a21, etc. The 3 series alloys have good shape, solubility, corrosion resistance. 3005 is also suitable for the production of aircraft fuel tanks, drums, radiators, cosmetic panels, bottle caps, cylinders, colored aluminum panels, building materials.


The silicon element is added to the 4-series alloy, the silicon content is quite high. It is generally used in building materials, such as building panels, welding wires, etc. Due to its good flowability low thermal expansion coefficient, it can be used to make pistons cylinder heads. Representative alloys include 4032 4043, overall, the application range is particularly large.


The 5-series alloy is more commonly used in alloys. It adds magnesium element, which is easy to form, has good fatigue resistance, high strength, corrosion resistance, especially good seawater resistance. After anodizing, the color turns very natural gray. 5052 alloy is a medium strength aluminum alloy, representing alloys such as 5005, 5050, 5052, 5056, 5083, 5086, 5154, 5182, 5254, 5454, etc, It is suitable for both low high temperature environments has excellent seawater resistance. It can be used to manufacture ships, pressure vessels, bulletproof vests, tank covers, car wheels, cameras, etc.


Magnesium selenium are widely used alloys in the 6 series alloys, which have the advantages of 4 series 5 series alloys. 6061, 6063, 6082, 6262, 6060, 6101, 6151, 6262, 6n01 alloys have moderate strength, high corrosion resistance, high conductivity, good corrosion resistance. The 6-series alloy can be used to manufacture ships, vehicles, complex cross-section profiles, aluminum profiles for home use, various machinery, automotive parts, car bodies, aluminum profile fences, as well as various components aluminum profile luggage racks, is widely used in industrial production.


7 series alloy is a type of superhard aluminum alloy with strong hardness, especially 7075 alloy. Its strength is relatively high among aluminum alloys, but its corrosion resistance is very good. 7050 alloy has very strong corrosion resistance, while 7 series alloy has high hardness, wear resistance, weldability. It can be used in aerospace, aircraft landing gear, rockets, ships, sleds, vehicles, locomotive wheels, slurry, etc.
