The cylinder is composed of cylinder barrel, end cover, piston, piston rod, sealing components, its internal structure is shown in the figure:

1) Cylinder barrel

3) Piston

The piston is a pressurized component in a cylinder. To prevent mutual gas leakage between the left right chambers of the piston, a piston sealing ring is installed. The wear-resistant ring on the piston can improve the directionality of the cylinder, reduce the wear of the piston sealing ring, reduce frictional resistance. The wear-resistant ring is made of materials such as polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene, synthetic resin. The width of the piston is determined by the size of the sealing ring the necessary length of the sliding part. The sliding part is too short, which can easily cause early wear seizure. The material of the piston is commonly aluminum alloy cast iron, while the piston of a small cylinder is made of brass.
